Turning Tides Tradesman is growing, and we're looking for a dependable, hardworking laborer to join our team. You don't need years of construction experience. We're willing to train the right person who is ready to learn, work hard, and take pride in what they do.

Starting Pay: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience and ability

Roofing on the Southern Oregon Coast comes with its own challenges.

Wind, heavy rain, moisture, moss, salt air, and constant exposure to the elements can be hard on a roof. That’s why the details matter. Cutting corners and a lack of local knowledge can lead to problems down the road.

At Turning Tides Tradesman we look at the entire roofing system not just the shingles on top.

We specialize in asphalt shingle, metal, and flat roofing systems, with an emphasis on quality materials, proper installation, and following manufacturer specifications.

ROOF REPLACEMENTS

We pay attention to the parts of a roof that often get overlooked - underlayment, fastening, ventilation, flashing, roof penetrations, and proper water-shedding details.

LEAK DETECTION & REPAIR

A water stain on the ceiling doesn't always mean the leak is directly above it. We take the time to investigate the roof system and look at valleys, penetrations, flashing, vents, transitions, and other common problem areas to find the actual source.

VENTILATION UPGRADES

Proper intake and exhaust ventilation are important parts of a healthy roofing system. We evaluate existing ventilation and can recommend upgrades when they will benefit the home.

FLASHING & ROOF DETAILS

The details matter. Wall flashing, valleys, chimneys, vents, skylights, and other roof penetrations need to be properly installed and maintained. These are areas where we don't believe in taking shortcuts.

ROOF INSPECTIONS

Buying or selling a home? Dealing with a leak? Or just wondering how much life is left in your roof?

We can take a look at the condition of your roofing system and help you understand what we're seeing.

We believe homeowners should understand what they're paying for.

We'll explain what we find, why something may need to be repaired or replaced, and what options make sense for your home. We don't believe in pushing unnecessary work or leaving customers in the dark.
