The end result: better drainage, a protected driveway, and a beautiful rock feature that adds character to the entire entrance.

This property had a serious runoff problem that was washing out the gravel driveway and cutting channels through the yard. Instead of simply fixing the washout, we turned the solution into a feature that looks like it belongs there.

We reshaped the driveway and created a rock-lined drainage swale that gives stormwater a controlled path downhill. The large natural stone makes it durable enough to handle heavy runoff while creating a gorgeous landscape feature that complements the property.

Functional can look good, too. 👌

🚧 From washed out and rutted to a driveway built right!

This driveway had seen better days—deep washouts, exposed rock, poor drainage, and plenty of uneven ground. We came in, reshaped and widened the drive, corrected the grade, cleaned up the surrounding area, and finished it off with fresh stone.

Here are some pics and video from a decent size project in progress.

This customer had a large slip in the hill beside their house which resulted in the bank creeping very close to the house and garage and causing poor drainage. They also had an issue with their driveway being hard to get up and down in the winter time. So we killed 2 birds with 1 stone.

We pushed all of the unstable soil off the hillside, creating a stockpile, we then pushed that dirt onto the driveway ensuring proper compaction and creating a much more gentle slope.
