We’re proud to recognize a Myrtle Beach crew for the professionalism, responsiveness, and care they recently demonstrated while completing a customer conversion. Summer Safety Month is a reminder that working safely in the heat starts with staying ahead of it. ☀️💧

Hydration plays an important role in helping our teams stay alert, focused, and ready for the workday. Don’t wait until you’re thirsty to drink water. Hydrate consistently throughout the day, take breaks when needed, and keep an eye out for signs of heat-related illness in yourself and your coworkers.

Team, if you haven’t already, look back at our Hydration Two-Minute Drill video with your crew. Take a few minutes to refresh on the importance of staying hydrated and looking out for one another, especially during the hottest days of summer. Stay hydrated. Stay alert. Know the signs.

Strong partnerships make a difference when timelines are tight.

In Madisonville, Kentucky, Team Construction and Southeast Connections combined expertise to support a customer’s request for the installation of approximately one mile of 8-inch steel.

With a tight turnaround, employees from both teams came together to mobilize quickly and keep the project moving across crop fields and wet areas. From welding and excavation to coordinating resources in the field, the collaboration helped the team meet the customer’s deadline.

Thank you to Team Superintendent Sam, SEC Superintendent Carlos, Foreman Ivan, and everyone who contributed to the project. It’s a great example of what we can accomplish when our teams work together and bring their experience to the table!

Our crews are on the road every day, traveling from project to project and working throughout the communities we serve. With more activity around schools, bus stops, neighborhoods, and driveways, it’s important that we all stay alert and expect the unexpected.

Slow down, eliminate distractions, watch carefully for children, and always stop for school buses when required. A few extra seconds and a little extra awareness can make all the difference.

Congratulations to Michael R. on receiving the Florida Energy Pipeline Association (FEPA) Annual Safety Award! 👏

Michael was recognized during the 2026 FEPA Conference for his commitment to safe work practices and the work he is supporting in South Florida for our customer.

The award was presented by Chad Callaway of TECO, current Chair of FEPA. Michael attended the conference alongside fellow team members, connecting with industry professionals and representing our team.

Whether you’re working on a jobsite or starting a project at home, knowing what’s below is an important part of digging safely.

Before breaking ground, contact 811, allow time for utilities to be marked, understand the markings in your work area, and use extra care when digging near underground utilities. On the jobsite, that also means reviewing the ticket, communicating with the crew, and speaking up when something doesn’t look right.

This week, we're proud to recognize Roberto M., Francisco O., Juan B., and Fernando F. for their outstanding work on a recent gas service installation for a customer in Indian Trail, NC.

When the project team needed a solution to keep construction moving forward, this crew delivered. By completing the service installation efficiently and preparing it for a future tie-in, they helped prevent delays for both the customer and the general contractor.

The customer shared their appreciation, recognizing SEC for making the installation happen safely, and ensuring the project stayed on track.

Big milestones are built through teamwork.

Our crews recently completed the installation of nearly 14,000 feet of 12-inch HDPE gas distribution main, marking the largest diameter polyethylene pipeline installation in our Southeast Zone and the first 12-inch HDPE installation for our customer in North Carolina.

Using a combination of horizontal directional drilling (HDD), hydro excavation, auger boring, open trench installation, plastic fusion, in-trench tie-ins, and more! The team delivered this project on time, on budget, and, most importantly, without a recordable incident.

Congratulations to everyone involved in the planning, design, construction, and activation of this project. Your commitment to quality, collaboration, and safe ex*****on made this achievement possible.
