Checking in on our decorative crosswalks around ATL! 👀

Come fly towards the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola complex as we check out three portions of this massive project! Once again, shout out to Geveko Markings for working around the clock to produce the custom colors and pieces to recreate these artists' work. We LOVE seeing the results of our decorative crosswalk projects from above.

🌈 Add a little touch of magic ✨ to your space with MMA, one of the best pavement marking materials on the market! ⁠

For this mural at The Works in Atlanta, we worked with the GOAT Geveko Markings to match custom colors for a truly spectacular result! Our in-house artists also did a spectacular job at carrying the existing mural back onto the concrete for a seamless finished product. ⁠

And… action! 🎬

Our growing film industry has become an exciting part of Georgia's culture, and we’re proud to play a small role in it!

🍿 We recently worked with repeat customer Assembly Studios to create a custom Universal Studios logo stencil, which we applied at multiple locations throughout the expansive Doraville studio complex.

With a mix of indoor and outdoor filming spaces, keeping everything clearly marked and organized is essential. We were happy to bring a little custom stenciling to this location! 🎥

A special project for Big Apple’s newest estimator, Henry Bailey!

Henry recently had the opportunity to work with his alma mater, George Walton Academy, to give their baseball, track, and senior parking lots a fresh new look.

Our crew sealcoated two parking lots totaling 7,150 SY and restriped more than 175 spaces, along with hatched aisles, arrows, skip lines, fire lane markings, and yellow lines. We also sealcoated 72 spaces in the senior parking lot to give them a clean, blacked-out finish.

At GWA, seniors have a tradition of painting their own parking spaces, so our job was to give them a fresh canvas to get creative! 🎨

A fresh start for Roan Elementary! 🍎🚧

Before students returned for the new school year, we helped give several paved areas at Roan Elementary School a much-needed refresh.

Working alongside our longtime customer, Reeves Young, our team installed 270 tons of GAB and paved more than 800 SY across multiple areas of the campus. We also completed striping, installed new signage and bollards, and pressure washed the finished surfaces to give everything a clean, polished look.

We’re proud to help create safe, functional spaces for students, teachers, and staff, and to get the job done just in time for the first school bell! 📚✨

Meet Co-CEO Clint Anderson 👋

A Georgia native with years of hands-on experience in the field, Clint Anderson brings a unique combination of technical expertise, leadership, and a genuine commitment to getting the job done right.

Before taking over Big Apple Services alongside Co-CEO Josh Cagliani from founder Steve Epstein, Clint worked as a highly skilled electrician. Since joining the leadership team, he has helped grow our field crew, expand our services, and build strong relationships with our subcontractors and vendors.

But Clint isn’t the kind of leader who stays behind a desk. He knows the ins and outs of our equipment, materials, trucks, and trailers, and you’ll often find him on-site working alongside our sales team and crews to make sure every job is running smoothly. He keeps a close eye on every project, maintains our fleet in top condition, and stays connected to the latest industry trends through his extensive network.

When he’s not working, Clint enjoys cooking, watching football, and spending time with his wife, their two young children, and their dachshund, Kirby. 🐾

🚧 One of our biggest projects yet is complete!

We wrapped up work at the Gainesville Inland Port, a 104-acre facility in Hall County connecting Northeast Georgia directly to the Port of Savannah by rail. Designed to handle up to 200,000 containers each year, the Inland Port will support regional industries including poultry, forest products, and heavy equipment while helping move freight off our highways and onto rail.

The facility is expected to eliminate thousands of truck trips from regional roads each year, helping improve transportation efficiency while supporting the continued growth of Northeast Georgia.

We’re proud to have played a part in bringing this major infrastructure project to life. 💪

✨Luxury vibes in a new apartment community.✨

We recently completed paint and thermoplastic striping for this upscale apartment in Dacula. Scopes on this job included:

• 600+ parking spaces
• 31 ADA spaces
• Crosswalks & stop bars
• EV charging symbols
• Directional arrows
• Stenciled markings
• Skip lines & double yellow lines throughout the complex
• 14 wheelstops supplied and installed

Wheelstops are an important element of parking areas where you may need extra protection against landscaping, sprinkler systems, or other decorative installations.

Crosswalks, but make it art. 🎨⁠

Artist Aysha Pennerman’s decorative crosswalks, designed to complement the rebranding of the Atlanta Beltline, will be featured at over 20 locations along the popular walking/cycling route. ⁠
⁠
Prior to the World Cup, we completed the installation of 8 crosswalks in the West Midtown/Westside. Bringing these decorative crosswalks to life requires both custom MMA colors from Geveko Markings and custom-made stencils. ⁠
⁠
To expertly recreate the artist’s vision, our crews worked at the warehouse and at a test site to design a workflow that prevents both shifting stencils and MMA overspray. We used two Koldspray MMA 98:2 machines from Dispensing Technology Corporation, perfectly coordinated to apply both colors without downtime. There are only a handful of these machines in the state of Georgia, and we’re proud to own two of them!⁠

Prior to MMA application, we hydroblasted the crosswalk areas to remove any existing striping or debris so we had a nice clean canvas. ⁠
⁠
This type of work presents a unique set of challenges as we are essentially creating a mural on the ground, working with uneven surfaces and existing curbs. Our crews are able to stay safe and focused thanks to H3B Traffic Control. ⁠
