📚 School is in session, and the improvements to the paved surfaces at Roan Elementary arrived just in time!

Leading up to the new school year, we worked with frequent customer Reeves Young to install 270 T of GAB and pave more than 800 SY over several areas at Roan Elementary School in Dalton. We followed the paving with fresh striping, signage, and bollards, then wrapped up the project with pressure washing for a clean finish.

We hope all the students, teachers, and staff at Roan Elementary have an incredible year ahead! 🍎

The World Cup may be long gone, but our decorative crosswalks are still here! ⚽️

Our team is proud to have spent many long nights installing these decorative crosswalks ahead of the 2026 games. Working nights on a very tight deadline, our crews installed 8 intersections, for a total of 32 custom preformed thermoplastic crosswalks, in an all-out sprint. Work was completed with less than one month between approval and the pre-event deadline!

We could not have accomplished this without the dedicated support of our supplier, Danish company Geveko Markings, the inventors of preformed thermoplastic. Luckily produce it at a plant in Gainesville, GA! Both the US and European teams worked around the clock to get the colors and designs just right, produce and cut them into 2'x3' pieces, number them, box them, label them, and deliver them straight to the crew.

🤩 Okay, we would ABSOLUTELY live here!

Amenities can be the deciding factor when searching for a community to call home, so it’s important to make sure your property’s amenities lot is well-maintained and always looking its best.

We recently sealed and striped a single family home community in Braselton, GA, and it looks amazing. Summer isn’t quite over yet, so we’re hoping residents continue to enjoy the pool and tennis courts!

The summer weather has been raining on our paving and striping parade this year, but that's not stopping us from getting the job done! ☔️

Between the rain showers, our crews have been hard at work keeping projects on track, including these two striping projects completed just a few weeks ago. With more wet weather in the forecast, we're staying flexible and adjusting schedules to make the most of every dry-weather window!

Sealcoating not only restores a fresh, like-new appearance but also protects your asphalt from moisture, chemicals, and everyday wear. If your pavement is showing more significant signs of deterioration, a milling and overlay can extend the life of the surface.

Your MMA questions answered 👉 (and yes, we're talking Methyl-Methacrylate 😏).

Used for road markings, MMA is both hardy and long-lasting. Just as importantly, it has excellent color retention, meaning the markings will retain their brightness over a longer period of time than traditional paint.

✅ How is it applied? By roller, squeegee, or sprayer!
✅ How quickly does it cure? Typically within one hour.
✅ What about when the weather turns, can it still be used? You bet! No heating required, meaning it can be applied in colder months.

MMA can last for up to 10 years, therefore you'll need fewer restripes and maintenance down the line. Most importantly, MMA can be used on both asphalt and concrete.

DYK: Bike lanes can reduce collisions by as much as 50 percent?

While bike lanes are designed for cyclists, they make the road safer for everyone. By providing a dedicated space for people on two wheels, bike lanes reduce potential contact between cyclists and drivers, improve visibility, and help traffic flow more smoothly by minimizing sudden stops, unexpected lane changes, and merging.

Safe, well-marked bike lanes can also encourage more people to choose cycling for their daily commute. With more riders and fewer drivers, traffic congestion decreases and air quality improves!

What to know when choosing between concrete and asphalt. ⬇️

No two paving projects are the same and choosing the right surface can save you time and money down the road. Before starting your project, take time to consider:

👉 How will the surface will be used?
👉 Will you have heavy traffic?
👉 What kind of vehicles will be using the area?
👉 What is your budget for annual maintenance and repairs?

Concrete is incredibly durable, but the upfront cost can be higher. Asphalt on the other hand is less expensive, but may require more maintenance and repair later on.
