A first look at a few new homes we're wrapping up in Lonoke! 🏡

We've really enjoyed watching these homes come together. Each is approximately 1,600 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with an open kitchen and living area and a clean, modern finish throughout.

These homes were built by Elliott Construction and Roofing for a client and will be offered for sale soon. We'll share the listing information once they're officially on the market for anyone who may be looking for a new home in the Lonoke area.

It's always rewarding to get to this stage of a project and see everything come together. We're proud of how these turned out and appreciate the opportunity to be a part of them.

Sometimes the most important part of a roof replacement is what you don’t see until the old roof comes off.

We recently started replacing an older roof and discovered significant deterioration along one of the eaves. Water intrusion over time had damaged not only several sheets of roof decking, but portions of the framing underneath as well.

Before the new roof could be installed properly, we first had to remove the damaged material and reframe this area so the new decking had a solid structure to attach to.

This is a good example of why it’s worth keeping an eye on an aging roof—even when there may not be an obvious leak inside the home. Small amounts of water getting where they shouldn’t over a long period of time can turn what might have been a relatively simple repair into something much more involved.

If your roof is getting older and you're unsure of its condition, having it inspected before problems become visible inside the house can potentially save a lot of trouble down the road.

If your roof maintenance program has officially become “add more Flex Seal”…it may be time to give us a call. 😂

We spotted this during a recent roof inspection. Temporary repairs can certainly have their place, but when they start becoming permanent repairs, it's probably worth having the entire roof evaluated.

It’s the details that really start bringing a project together.

We’ve been making great progress on this home addition, and this week we installed the 10x10 wood columns can trimmed the beams on the new covered outdoor kitchen.

The size of the columns combined with the exposed wood ceiling and gable detail really gives this space the scale and character we were looking for. Once everything is stained and the remaining finishes are complete, this is going to be an incredible area for the homeowners to enjoy.

One of the things we enjoy most about addition and renovation projects is finding ways to make the new space feel like it was always supposed to be part of the home—not simply something that was added later.

More to come on this one as we get closer to the finish line.

This one is going to be fun to see finished.

We’re making good progress on this detached garage project in Conway. The owners wanted something that would provide plenty of room for vehicles and toys today, while also giving them flexibility for how they may want to use the space in the future.

A few of the features we incorporated into the build:

🔹 Laundry hookups
🔹 Reinforced concrete designed to accommodate car lifts
🔹 Plenty of room for vehicles, storage and workspace

Projects like this are a great example of how a detached garage can be much more than just a place to park. Whether it's a workshop, space for a car collection, boat and ATV storage, or just some much-needed extra room, we can design and build it around how you plan to use it.

This home addition in Conway is coming along great! The amount of space this will add to their already great house will be significant. With paint starting this week it will easily be ready for fall BBQ's.
