I don’t post much on here but this one was a good one. I guess the last electrician ran short on wire and put splices in the pipe. Lost one leg of power and we had to dig up the pipe to find the problem. You can always find a cheaper guy but it could cost you way more in the future. Be careful who works on your electrical stuff.

The last guy fixed this up right with ground approved boxes and all but lights still wouldn’t work for some reason

This is the safest and easiest way to hook up a generator to a house and in most cases the total install cost less then just a transfer switch

I can’t say it enough to people to watch who you let do electrical work on your stuff. This was a small house someone feed with #10 wire good for 30 amps that was on a 70 amp breaker. The older lady was running heaters with the cold weather and overloaded the wire that didn’t trip the 70 amp breaker and you see what happened. And glad to say that she did get out but not unhurt as she was in a wheelchair. So please let someone that knows what they are doing work on your stuff because it is truly a life and death choice. Be safe
