Blue Leaf Design Build

A great visual reminder of why estimates can vary so much from contractor to contractor.

At Blue Leaf Design Build, we estimate for what your project will actually cost to build—not simply the number that gets you in the door.

If you’re telling us you want a luxury kitchen, we’re not going to give you a $71K estimate when the scope and finishes you’re describing realistically put the project at $145K and up.

Even a straightforward tear-out-and-replace kitchen with quality materials is now easily $65K+.

There are a lot of factors that go into the cost of a remodel, and understanding what’s included in an estimate is just as important as the number at the bottom.
Our goal is simple: give you a realistic investment from the beginning, so there are fewer surprises along the way.

If you have a kitchen or large scale remodel, we would love to talk.

Expanding my horizons into the world of judging for Dahlia Interiors. When we finish our current project, we will be submitting for awards.
This is my second time judging. The first was the Nari awards for Blue Leaf Design Build (which I am happy to be doing again for next year!). Such great experiences that are fun and help me grow as a designer and business owner. Thanks McGlone Photography for the great headshot!

Dear Friends, Clients, and Vendors,

As many of you know, our small and close-knit community experienced an unthinkable tragedy last week. Our hearts are heavy for the families, students, and neighbors of Evergreen High School who are directly affected.

We live and work here, and like so many of you, we have felt the weight of this moment. At the same time, we’ve also witnessed the incredible strength of our community. From restaurants offering free meals to survivors and first responders, to vigils to countless acts of kindness, people have come together in powerful ways to care for our children, teachers, first responders, and each other.

We are deeply grateful to the first responders—Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Elk Creek Fire Department, and the many metro Denver agencies—who responded quickly and courageously.

Several fundraisers are already underway, with more being organized to support families and community resources. We’ve included links below for anyone wishing to help. We will update these on our website as we receive them.

In times like these, it’s clear that the spirit of our mountain community shines brightest. Thank you for continuing to show up, support one another, and hold space for healing.
