Today was exciting, but not in the way anyone wants to see. While driving home with my wife our truck bed caught fire. She called 911 immediately and while I waited for the fire department our Mayor Cole Stanley ran to help with his emergency fire extinguisher. His actions may have prevented a much bigger disaster. We are so fortunate to live in Amarillo where people are quick to help others.
