Our team is out in the neighborhood today getting lawns ready for a fresh start with Aeration & Overseeding. By opening up the soil and getting fresh Fescue seed where it needs to be, we’re giving these lawns a chance to fill in thicker and stronger. It’s a little messy now… but just wait until that new grass starts coming in. That’s what fall lawn care is all about!

Why aerate Bermuda grass?

Core aeration removes small plugs of soil, helping relieve compaction so water, oxygen, and nutrients can reach the root zone more effectively. The result? Stronger roots, improved drought tolerance, and a healthier lawn. Those soil plugs may look messy now, but they're a sign your lawn is getting the breathing room it needs to
thrive.

Yes, every single day! This means the world to us. ⭐

Bermuda is one of the most heat-tolerant turfgrasses, which is one reason it's so popular in the Carolinas. However, during extended dry periods, it may go dormant and turn brown—especially when watering restrictions limit irrigation. The good news? Dormant Bermuda isn't necessarily dead. Once temperatures moderate and rainfall returns, it can often recover and green back up.

One of the biggest lawn care mistakes we see every summer? Giving up on watering too soon.

When temperatures rise and conditions get dry, it may seem like watering isn't making a difference. But even if your lawn doesn't look greener right away, you're helping keep the grass alive and healthy beneath the surface. Consistent watering during hot, dry weather helps your lawn survive stress and recover much faster when natural rainfall returns.

🌱 Don't let summer heat undo all the progress you've made this season. Keep watering, stay patient, and give your lawn the support it needs to bounce back stronger.
