Some projects are beautiful. Some projects completely change the way a home feels.

This one did both.

What began as a kitchen remodel became a much larger rethinking of the first floor—opening walls, reconfiguring the kitchen, and creating a more connected dining area, laundry room, drop zone, and powder room.

Several of the walls being removed were load-bearing, which meant the transformation required careful structural planning and engineered solutions—not just a new finish palette.

From the custom charcoal blue cabinetry and Calacatta Gold countertops to the marble backsplash and refinished hardwood floors, every detail came together to create a space that feels completely different from where it started.
And according to our design team?
**It was an amazing transformation that exceeded her expectations!**

Those are the projects we love most—the ones where the finished space becomes even better than we imagined when we first put pencil to paper.

A home that's stood for over 100 years deserved a primary suite that could carry it through the next 100.

When these homeowners came to us, they weren't looking for just a new bathroom. They wanted their home to work better for the way they live today while honoring the character they fell in love with.

Instead of adding onto the home, we completely reimagined the existing layout—transforming a cramped 34-square-foot bathroom into a spacious primary suite complete with a walk-in shower, freestanding soaking tub, custom vanity, walk-in closet, pantry, and even a wet bar...all within the home's original footprint.

Working in a century-old home meant navigating uneven floors, out-of-plumb walls, and countless hidden surprises. But thoughtful design and skilled craftsmanship allowed us to preserve the home's historic charm while introducing the comfort and functionality of modern living.

For these homeowners, their kitchen worked... but they knew it could work even better.

Their biggest goal? Bring in more natural light and create a space that feels brighter, fresher, and more functional for everyday life. What started as a plan to simply redesign the island quickly evolved into a full kitchen transformation.
