A great day for a great cause! 🎯

Great Lakes Granite Works was proud to sponsor the HBA Foundation Clay Shoot and be part of a fun day with fellow members of the Home Builders Association. Dawn Burgess also helped out at the registration table, making it a team effort from the start.

With 27 teams and 135 shooters, there was plenty of action on the course! We enjoyed being part of the event and supporting the HBA Foundation and the work it does in our community.

Thanks to the HBA for putting together such a great event, and to everyone who came out to participate!

Great Lakes Granite Works will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We’ll return to regular hours on Tuesday.
Labor Day is a good time to recognize the people behind the finished work!
The first Labor Day celebration was held in New York City in 1882, when workers were coming together to advocate for better working conditions. In 1894, Labor Day became a federal holiday.

In our world, a finished countertop, surface, or architectural detail represents a lot of skilled work. From selecting the right material to measuring, fabricating, finishing, and installing it, there are experienced people behind every finished project.

Stone and surface materials may be beautiful on their own, but it takes skilled hands to turn them into something that works in a space and stands up to everyday use.

This Labor Day, we’re grateful for the people who take pride in their work and make good projects possible.

Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable Labor Day!

We will be closed Wednesday to gather, enjoy some good food, play a few games, and spend time together at our annual summer employee party.

We believe taking time to connect as a team is an important part of building a strong company and a great place to work. We’re sorry if we miss you while we’re away, and we’ll be back to our regular hours on Thursday.

If you need to reach us, please call and leave a message. We’ll return your call as soon as we can.

Thank you for understanding—and we hope you have a great day, too!
