On today’s job, Thorpe Bros wrapped up a flood restoration project for another wonderful client in Fenton, MI! 🙌

The homeowner gave us a call after noticing a puddle forming in the middle of their basement during heavy rainfall. After quickly diagnosing the issue, we got right to work developing a solution to stop the water intrusion for good.🙅‍♂️💪

We installed new drain tile and waterproofing, restored the affected area, and finished everything off with brand-new LVP flooring in a section of the basement.

Another one wrapped up and looking right!🔥

On today’s job, Thorpe Bros completed a full walkway and patio correction project for one of our awesome returning clients in Wixom, MI turning a major drainage problem into a clean, solid upgrade built to last🙌

Over the years, the original walkway and patio had severely settled, causing water to pool throughout the walkway and drain directly back toward the foundation, something no homeowner wants to deal with. We got to work by removing the entire existing walkway, removed the massive 12-inch-thick step, and demoed the patio slabs that were pitched the wrong direction. Furthermore, we removed and rehoused several large rocks to give the patio a slight extension while rebuilding everything with the proper pitch and flow💪

The result: A beautiful new walkway, a clean new step, and a repaired/ extended patio that not only completely transforms the curb appeal, but also helps keep water away from the foundation where it belongs😎🔥

🌱MULCH BETTER🌱

On today’s job, Thorpe Bros freshened up this garden bed for a wonderful returning customer!🙌💪

This customer’s garden bed was getting over grown and needed a little bit of a refresh so we did just that.

We started out by removing the myrtle and weeds on the two sides, shaped and trimmed up the arborvitaes, planted two beautiful hydrangeas, and finally laid down some black mulch to top it off.

This new garden bed really gives the front of this property a clean new look.😎

🔥READY FOR THE FINAL PHASE🔥

On today’s job, Thorpe Bros teamed up with Borello Construction and completed our portion of the work for this beautiful master bedroom/bathroom remodel in Clarkston, MI!😎

Our portion of the project included a full demo of the existing bathroom, closet, and carpet throughout, rerouting and adding electrical, reworking plumbing, framing a new bump-out for the barn door that will be installed, hanging and patching drywall, and tiling the bathroom floor and shower. 💪🔥

Our good friend Adriano Borello at Borello Construction will be handling the remainder of the project, including all new LVP flooring throughout, trim work, custom closet shelving, paint, and the barn door installation👌

Once completed, this new master bedroom and bathroom will be the perfect place to unwind after a long day while also creating a ton of additional closet space for these awesome customers🥳🙌

On today’s job, Thorpe Bros put the finishing touches on this beautiful deck restoration for another wonderful client right here in Commerce, MI 🙌💪

This customer’s deck was in desperate need of a transformation after years of weathering caused the previous stain to fade and wear down over time. So we came in and gave it the full Thorpe Bros refresh 🔥

We carefully prepped the entire surface with a 2-step chemical wash, sanded down all the loose and flaking areas, and sealed everything up with a beautiful Chocolate Chip solid stain to bring this deck back to life again 😍😮‍💨

This deck is now cleaned up, protected, and ready to host the graduation party our customers will be having next month 🎓🍔☀️

LET THERE BE CRETE!☀️😎

On today’s job, Thorpe Bros wrapped up a new walkway and set of steps for another wonderful client🙏🙌

This project consisted of replacing a severely outdated, sunken walkway and steps. The problem: a nearby gutter was dumping water into the walkway, creating a pool due to improper slope. This caused water to flow back toward the foundation🤦‍♂️

The solution: we rerouted the downspout underground and away from the foundation, then poured a beautiful new walkway and steps with the correct slope for proper drainage. The end result was night and day!💪🔥
