Ammex Back-To-School Throwback College Edition! Air Force Academy Cadet Gymnasium. This 2010 ACE award-winning phase to the cadet gym was a challenge. The extent of this third remodel phase was to the existing natatorium (Latin for a building containing a swimming pool). This 20,699 square foot remodel consisted of all Elgin Butler structural glazed tile. The seating area in the natatorium was expanded and underneath the seating area many new locker rooms and other facility rooms for various sports were constructed using this material.

Ammex Back-To-School Throwback College Edition! Johnson & Wales University, Founders Hall Renovation. This project was a renovation of existing residents hall and a four story addition. The scope also included two 8” CMU stair shafts and 8” CMU shear walls. It was constructed of modular brick veneer (two colors) with brick accent panels throughout as well as precast caps, sills, and bands.

Ammex Back-To-School Throwback College Edition! Go Pioneers! Ammex Masonry proudly took part in the construction of the DU Community Commons, a 132,000-square-feet building located at the heart of the DU campus for events, programming, dining, student organizations and support services. The masonry on this four-story project consists of modular brick, 8″ and 12″ CMU, Cast Stone, granite and limestone.
