Electrical Design & Service is a modest-sized, commercial-oriented, electrical contracting company looking to grow with our employees. We’re proud to have been family owned and operated since 1978. We are seeking to hire an experienced Estimator or the right experienced electrician to fill this vital position on our team. If you're a reliable self-starter, looking to lead, Electrical Design & Service is a perfect fit for you.
Responsibilities
• Provide detailed and accurate take-offs from various sources of information including blueprints, specifications, and site visits
• Compose details outlining a projects entire scope in a comprehensive and thorough manner
• Analyze drawing and onsite changes to produce accurate cost adjustments in a timely fashion
• Assign and coordinate all material, manpower, and schedule to maintain efficient production and progress on multiple job sites
• Travel to monitor team performance and inspect work for quality
• Attend project meetings on and off-site and provide management updates as to progress and hindrance

Qualifications
• 5+ years of electrical experience
• 2+ years of electrical estimating experience
• Strong understanding of industry safety standards and NEC required
• Ability to oversee multiple projects at one time and the willingness to follow through with projects from inception to completion
• Posses the foresight to manage job complications before they cause substantial delays or disruptions
• Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment
• Aptitude to learn a variety of software platforms including estimating software and Microsoft Office
