At first glance, I thought there was no way to replace the shower pan, without replacing it all…but I have some pretty smart friends in this trade, and we found a way. The original installer didn’t install a piece of waterproofing fabric that covers the drain to pan connection, causing a substantial leak. We were able to remove the entire thing, and build a completely waterproof shower pan, complete with new pebbles for the shower floor, because what kind of lake house would this be if it didn’t have pebbles for a shower floor, Amiright?

Down to the studs and joists, turned a closet into a shower, and gave mom all the bells and whitsles 😅
