Remembering that all we have to today and the freedoms we hope to keep would not have even existed without immense sacrifice from those who have served and their families. Thank you 🇺🇸.

Tub talks are always better than conference room meetings 🛁

Working with great partners makes the entire remodeling process better — for us and for our homeowners.

We know when clients walk into Eastway and meet Erika, they’re going to feel welcomed, taken care of, and guided to the right selections for their space.

Good people make good projects 🙌

Another Upper Arlington kitchen reno kickoff 👏

The goal for this one: more storage, better functionality, and a refresh that makes the entire space feel lighter, cleaner, and more current.

The existing kitchen wasn’t working the way the homeowners needed it to day to day, so we’re reworking the cabinetry and layout to make the space function better while giving it a completely updated feel.

And of course, before the demo starts, the home gets fully prepped and protected.

Excited to bring this one to life alongside Jill Zins of Graceful Redesigns

Stay tuned for the transformation.

There’s real math behind building arches.

Circles. Radius. Geometry. Getting every curve right so the arch not only looks good, but sits the way it’s supposed to and carries the load properly.

Most people never think about that part.

James does 😅

Raise your hand if Math was your favorite subject!

Happy dances are in order! Passing inspections means we can proceed to the next stage of construction with confidence that work has been completed according to code and the plans. After framing comes insulation and then drywall, where the new spaces really start to take form. Moving right a long on this project 🙌🏼.

Aaaand just as quickly as April came, it left! 💨🍃 Taking a moment to recount all the cool things that happened this past month, of which just a few of them are represented here. New projects were signed, existing projects progressed, and new relationships were built - what could be better?

-NARI meeting @ The Cabinet Shop
-Fun visit to Inkline Printing w/ Queen Bee Jackie
-Spoke @ the GWAREA - Greater Worthington Area Real Estate Association
-Women in Business meetup + Red, Whites, and Desserts Gala with the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce
-Podcast recording w/ Northwest Columbus City Lifestyle Magazine for our May feature

Vaulting a ceiling isn’t just opening things up.

There are real forces at play, and James walks through it here.

Joists hold the walls together.
An LVL carries the load.
Everything transfers down to the foundation.

Every bit of that load has somewhere to go. We just make sure it gets there.

That’s why we work with an architect from day one.

One of us came wired for getting it done right the first time. The other came wired for people. Turns out that's exactly what it takes to transform home into one you'll truly love.

Back for another project with this client! 👊

We kicked off this kitchen remodel with a clear goal: open it up, brighten it, and make the space work better for the homeowners.

Out go the soffits, the ceiling gets opened up, and the layout is getting a full rethink (including relocating the sink).

And of course, we always prep and protect the home before getting started!

Stay tuned for this transformation…
