So what it has been almost 5 years since we last posted!?! Something about this beautiful Friday, this gorgeous view of Lake Oliver and the fact that Spring is right around the corner made us feel like today was the day to make a new post! We love what we do and can’t wait to see this project once it’s complete. And we promise to not wait another 5 years to post again 😂

Currently seeking motivated individuals that can handle working outside on a daily basis performing manual labor. Landscape install experience is a plus; however, if you are willing to learn, on the job training will be provided. Experience running heavy equipment such as mini excavators and skid steers is also a plus. This position is labor intensive and requires the applicant to be a quick learner. Dependable transportation to and from work is required. Valid driver license and clean driving record is a plus. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Pay dependent upon experience.

“Wait, are those blue lights behind us?” Hold on, it’s NOT Monday....but it sure felt like it first thing this morning when the DOT officer decided to pull over the landscape crew as they were pulling up to the job site! As we all know, you dread the day you get stopped by DOT but this morning actually turned out to be an awesome experience! After his initial inspection, I got the chance to talk with Officer Griffin and he could not have been any nicer or more helpful. He took the time to explain the violations (left blinker light and brake light on trailer not working due to blown fuse) that he found and how we could correct them, answered all of my questions in regards to new rules/regulations, and even provided me with his supervisors contact information so that I could reach out to him and setup an “Outreach” meeting, where a GA DOT officer or representative will come in and sit down with me and my guys and answer any questions we may have and provide us with information that will help keep us safe and compliant. As weird and crazy as this may sound, thank you Officer Griffin for your time this morning and for what you do to keep our roads and highways safe!
