We’re ! EDGE is looking for an entry-level Landscape Designer to join our collaborative team. This is an opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects while building your skills alongside experienced designers across our Columbus and Toledo offices.

You’ll work closely with Principals and Project Managers to develop design concepts and bring ideas to life through sketches, renderings, and construction documents. Along the way, you’ll gain hands-on experience from site analysis through construction. If you bring a creative perspective, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn, we’d love to connect.

It was a busy weekend for EDGE in downtown Toledo, with our team participating in PARK(ing) Day and Wander the Warehouse.

Saturday, we transformed a Huron Street parking space into a temporary public display during Toledo PARK(ing) Day. Organized by the Toledo Design Collective, the annual event invites local teams to rethink curbside parking through creative installations. This year’s 27 parklets made it the event’s largest showing yet. EDGE’s display received the Change Maker Award, and we enjoyed seeing visitors experience the space throughout the day.

Sunday, we welcomed guests into our studio for Wander the Warehouse. The Toledo Warehouse District’s annual tour offers a look inside the neighborhood’s renovated residences and businesses. We shared several projects currently underway and introduced visitors to the ideas taking form in our studio.

Thank you to both organizations and everyone who spent the weekend with us. We are proud to contribute to a district where creative ideas regularly make it out the front door.

One of our favorite parts of this year's Ohio State Fair was experiencing design in action. After years of seeing these spaces on plans and behind construction fencing, watching them fill with fairgoers was a pretty great feeling.

We spend a lot of time imagining what a place will feel like once people arrive. This year, we got to enjoy it alongside everyone else.

With the 2026 Ohio State Fair complete, we’re reflecting on a milestone year for the Expo 2050 vision. New facilities and renovated spaces welcomed nearly a million visitors across the 360-acre campus, creating engaging exhibits and comfortable places to gather between destinations.

Over the course of the Fair, the EDGE team was out in full force to show our support, attending ribbon cuttings alongside our partners, exploring the grounds for ourselves, and taking part in our favorite traditions.

EDGE has supported the project since the master-planning stage and continues to serve as landscape architect on the design team led by Wellogy. We’re proud to contribute alongside Populous, Korda/Nemeth Engineering, Turner Construction Company, Hill International, 3C Industries, Bennett Engineering, BCL Enterprise and Roto Group.

Congratulations to Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds, Ohio State Fair, the entire State Fair Board and staff, Ohio Facilities Construction Commission and everyone who helped make this year's fair unforgettable.

Last week, residents, community partners, and project team members gathered at Maloney Park for the Linden Green Line Community Cookout and Open House.

The event provided an opportunity to share the vision for the Linden Green Line, developed through months of community engagement and shaped by the priorities and perspectives of the people who call Linden and Northland home. It was great to see such a strong turnout and so many meaningful conversations about the future of this 7-mile corridor.

By day and after dark, Toledo’s riverfront was on full display during Metroparks Toledo's Watershed weekend.

Thousands gathered at Glass City Riverwalk Downtown and International Cove to experience live music, art, and a river transformed by light. For our team, the highlight was seeing these spaces activated by the community and enjoyed in exactly the ways they were envisioned.

Projects of this scale take countless hours of collaboration, creativity, and dedication. Watching the community embrace the waterfront together was a moment that makes the years of planning more than worthwhile.

One of the most rewarding parts of our profession is seeing people experience the places we help create.

This weekend, a large portion of the EDGE team traveled to Toledo for Watershed Weekend and had the opportunity to experience the new Metroparks Toledo Glass City Riverwalk together for the first time. After years of planning, design, coordination, and construction, it was incredibly meaningful to explore the riverfront ourselves, see the spaces alive with community festivities, and share the experience with our team members who helped shape the project every step of the way.

Built for competition and designed for people, Jennings Sports Park delivers a year-round destination for tournaments, leagues, and community play. An intuitive layout helps visitors move comfortably across the site, while shaded seating and flexible gathering spaces invite players and families to spend time together and recharge between games. As play continues from morning into the evening, the landscape extends the energy beyond the field and into every corner of the park.
