Another CEO Summit in the books!

Over the past couple days, our Homestead Senior Living leadership team gathered in Columbus at Versa Coworking and our Home Office to align on the future vision for Homestead Village. The two-day summit featured presentations from our marketing and operations teams, along with collaborative discussions and strategic planning focused on enhancing the resident lifestyle and elevating the overall experience across our five active adult communities.

We also heard from our CEO, Dave Anderson, who shared the story behind the creation of Homestead Village and his vision for its continued growth and impact.

We’re grateful for the passion, leadership, and shared commitment of our team as we continue building a strong future for the residents and families we serve!

Our HU CEO Summit brought our student housing leaders together for a couple of days focused on training, collaboration, and teamwork. It was a great opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and share valuable knowledge with one another at our property, River Gate, in Athens, Ohio. These sessions not only strengthened our teams but also challenged us to think strategically, push for continued improvement, and elevate our approach across communities. We’re excited to carry this energy forward as we look ahead to the upcoming Homestead Senior Living CEO Summit this coming week!

Yesterday, Homestead Construction had the privilege of spending the day with students at Worthington Park Elementary School in Melanie Brinich’s classes.

As part of their architecture and construction unit, students worked through the full building process — from reading blueprints and filing “permits” to passing inspections and constructing their own birdhouses. Once completed, the projects were installed in the school courtyard on a custom stand built by our construction team, ready for their new feathered residents 🐦🏡

A special thank you to John Brinich, Tyler Barton, and Chad Plowman for volunteering their time and bringing real-world construction experience into the classroom, helping create a fully immersive day complete with custom vests, construction pencils, and tape measures for the students.
