Don't ever let anyone tell you that a home that doesn't have a basement isn't at risk of having a high level of Radon. In fact, if the home on a slab does have higher levels of Radon then you are at more risk because we test on the lowest level, which in this case, is the first floor where you spend most of your time. Below is an example of a slab home I recently tested that came back at 8.1 pCi/L. Remember that action level is 4.0 pCi/L and above.

Interior:

* Test Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detectors: Replace batteries and ensure they're functioning correctly.
