After 37 years with Gutknecht, a legend has retired.

Boonie was far more than a dedicated employee. He was a pillar of the values our company was built on and a constant beacon back to where we came from. Through decades of hard work, loyalty and an unwavering commitment to the Gutknecht family, he helped shape the company we are today.

Companies grow. People change. Generations come and go. But there are certain people whose impact becomes woven into the fabric of a company. Boonie is one of those people.

His work can be seen throughout our history, but his greatest legacy will be the example he leaves behind for every person who follows him.

37 years of dedication. 37 years of Gutknecht history.

Congratulations on your retirement, Boonie. The Gutknecht Firm will forever be better because you were part of it.

The legend has officially retired. ❤️

Construction Safety Week is more than a campaign to us. It is the standard we bring to every project, every shift, and every crew member.

From investing in advanced respiratory protection and bi-yearly health monitoring to implementing site-specific safety planning and transitioning to Type II Studson helmets, safety at Gutknecht Construction is built into the culture, not added after the fact.

We are incredibly honored to be recognized with the ICRI President’s Safety Award and even more proud of the people behind it.

Because every person on site deserves to go home safe. 💚

Officially welcomed into the Gutknecht family 👏

We are proud to congratulate Favour Ezugwu on graduating from Kent State University with his Master’s in Construction Management and receiving the MSCM Master’s Project Award from the College of Architecture and Environmental Design 🎓

After earning his undergraduate degree in architecture while studying and playing basketball in Dubai, Favour realized his passion extended beyond designing structures to helping bring them to life through construction.

Yesterday, his professors described him as a risk taker, a thoughtful leader, and a passionate, driven individual destined for success. We could not agree more.

We are incredibly excited to have Favour joining our team full time and cannot wait to watch him continue making an impact within this industry.

Congratulations, Favour. Your future is bright, and we are lucky to be part of the journey. 💙
