Bio-Dredging

Bio-Dredging Bio-Dredging is digesting and thereby, reducing sludge/bio-mass in situ using natural & powerful organic bio-stimulant and other products.

The products stimulate the microorganisms(also called, 'bugs') in sewer, in WW and in sludge. In municipal WWTP lagoons, in Pulp & Paper Mill, in Poultry, Vegetable & Potato Processing Operations, cost of Bio-Dredging is much less than mechanical removal of solids from their sludge-filled lagoons. The treatment also removes odor. The stimulated bugs will secrete their own bio-polymers which would

help in settling the remainder of the sludge. TSS, will therefore, go down. Since the treatment efficiency improves, BOD, COD, Ammonia (NH3), Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Fecals, Filaments and all other pollutants are significantly reduced in the effluent. Effluent metal levels are also controlled. Over 50% (Up to 75%, depending on the organics content) sludge will be reduced in 6 Months of Bio-Dredging.
