Before they were senior superintendents, many started their careers learning under Keith, who’s been with us for more than 52 years.

They still remember how he helped them along the way. Today, they’re doing the same for assistant superintendents like Gatlin and Brandon.

The guidance they received early in their careers is shaping how they lead others today.

A new working relationship often starts with an introduction.

Our supplier diversity team helps diverse subcontractors and suppliers connect with our project teams and learn about bidding opportunities. Staying in touch helps those introductions grow into relationships.

Some of the people in these photos first joined us for an internship and came back for another season before making Marker their full-time workplace.

At least nine current associates started that way. Now, they’re contributing across our field teams, project engineering, and estimating. We’re glad their story here kept going.

A day on a jobsite can give a high school student a different perspective on what comes after graduation.

Through our projects with COTA, we’ve welcomed students to see construction up close and learn about the careers behind the work. We’re glad to help them explore the possibilities.

Two career updates worth celebrating! 👏

Darrian is taking on a new role as Project Administrator after seven years with Marker in Accounts Payable.

Miranda has been promoted from HR Coordinator to HR Specialist, expanding her responsibilities and continuing to support our associates and HR team.

We love seeing our people grow and pursue new opportunities within Marker. Congratulations, Darrian and Miranda!

There’s a stage of construction when walls stop feeling like lines on a plan and start feeling like actual spaces.

We’re getting there at Global Impact STEM Academy Upper Academy Phase II. Drywall is defining the spaces inside, while outside, paving is underway at the north parking lot and siding is coming up next.

Little by little, the finished building is starting to come into view. 👏

There’s a lot of work behind the progress you can see at Springfield Masonic Community!

With retaining and basement walls complete, foundation work continuing, and ground improvement moving ahead, the groundwork is being laid for what comes next. And it’s all happening on an active campus, where keeping residents, staff, visitors, deliveries, and emergency services moving safely is part of the work every day.

Progress isn’t always measured by how high a building has risen. It starts with what’s happening below the surface.
