🏆 Cheering on Joe Hicks at the National Mixer Driver Championship! 🚛

Anderson Concrete is proud to have Joe Hicks representing our team at the NRMCA's 20th Annual National Mixer Driver Championship in Nashville, Tennessee, October 15–18!
Joe joined Anderson Concrete in June 2021 and continues to be a valued member of our mixer driver team.

This competition brings together some of the best mixer drivers from across the country to showcase their driving skills, safety knowledge, and commitment to excellence.

Please join us in wishing Joe the best of luck as he represents Anderson Concrete on the national stage!

Another great Anderson Concrete tradition!

In September, our team came together for our Annual Anderson Concrete Steak Fry at the Shelter House. It was a great evening filled with good food, great conversation, and an opportunity to spend time together.

We’re grateful for our employees and everything they do each day to serve our customers, support one another, and continue moving Anderson Concrete forward.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Steak Fry possible and to all of our team members who joined us!

Congratulations to Darrien Gouch on his new role as Safety Coordinator at Anderson Concrete!

Darrien joined our team as a Mixer Driver in November 2023 and officially transitioned into the Safety Department on September 10. We’re excited to see him take this next step and continue helping strengthen the safety culture across Anderson.

After helping guide Buckeye Ready-Mix through its formative years and serving Anderson Concrete for more than a decade as Treasurer, Gary Conley is celebrating a well-earned retirement.

Gary graduated from The Ohio State University in 1994 with a degree in Business Management and Accounting. After spending 10 years with DLZ Corporation, he joined Buckeye Ready-Mix in 1999 and has served as Controller for the past 26 years. In 2013, he also assumed the role of Treasurer for Anderson Concrete, a position he held for 12 years.

Gary has always been a calming, steady presence and a wealth of knowledge. He was never too busy to answer questions, explain financial statements, or help others better understand the business.

Everyone who had the privilege of working with Gary will miss him greatly in the office. Thank you for your years of dedication, leadership, and friendship.

The OCA Scholarship Program is now accepting applications from students pursuing careers in civil engineering, construction management, and related fields.

Chapter scholarships are typically $1,000–$2,500 per student, with Hall of Fame scholarships typically awarding $4,000 per student.
