Today, IEC took our message to Jefferson City. 🇺🇸⚡

We spent the day at Missouri’s Capitol meeting with legislators and advocating for what matters most—the skilled trades, small businesses, and merit shop contractors who keep our communities running strong.

From workforce development and apprenticeship training to policies that support fair competition, we’re proud to be a voice for the hardworking men and women of our industry. These conversations matter—because the future of the trades depends on the decisions being made today.

IEC will always stand up for:
🔹 The next generation of skilled electricians
🔹 Small business owners building our local economy
🔹 The merit shop philosophy—opportunity based on skill, not affiliation

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share our story and strengthen relationships with those shaping Missouri’s future.

🦃 Happy Thanksgiving from Scott Electric! 🦃

We’re shutting down for a couple days to overeat, argue about who’s in charge of the turkey, and pretend our to-do lists don’t exist. But before we disappear into gravy and mashed potatoes, we want you to know this:

WE ARE TRULY, GENUINELY THANKFUL FOR OUR AMAZING CUSTOMERS!

Your support keeps our small business buzzing (in the good, code-approved way), and we don’t take that for granted for a second.

Wishing you a safe, joyful, and delightfully overstuffed Thanksgiving. 🍂🥧✨
