How can museums present painful histories without traumatizing audiences, inspiring reflection and action instead of fear? Explore the "Lynching in Maryland" exhibition F. Lewis Museum as a model for immersive, multisensory, and inclusive storytelling.

This session includes Michael Burns, Quatrefoil's Director of Design Strategies; Cole Breeding, Quatrefoil's Senior Graphic Designer; Terry Freeman, President/CEO of the Reginald F. Lewis Museum, and Terry Anne Scott, Director of the Institute of Common Power.

Great news! We were elated to hear that our work with the St. Johns Cultural Council just won the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation's award for "Preserving Place"! The BLACK HERITAGE TRAIL reveals 400 years of little-known American history around St. Augustine, Florida. Amazing to be part of this project in such a historic city! Thanks to First Sight Media for the footage!
