Earlier this week, our team joined Health Care Partners of South Carolina and INVISION planning I architecture I interiors for the kickoff meeting for the upcoming Conway Medical Office Building.

These early conversations are essential to aligning project partners, establishing shared goals, and proactively addressing important details before construction begins. We’re excited to get started and bring this project to life!

Football season is officially kicking off, making this week’s Feature Project Friday a perfect time to revisit Coastal Carolina University’s Adkins Field House! 🏈

Mashburn constructed the 62,000 SF, three-story facility adjacent to Brooks Stadium to support CCU’s growing athletic program. The LEED Gold-certified facility features an expanded weight room, training and team meeting rooms, football locker rooms, coaches’ offices, conference spaces, and the Buddy Sasser Athletic Hall of Fame.

Completed on an aggressive one-year schedule while football season remained underway, the project provided the Chanticleers with an enhanced home for training, recruiting, and celebrating their athletic legacy.

As renovations continue at the future home of Mashburn Construction’s headquarters, we’re uncovering pieces of the building’s history along the way—including these decades-old tax stamps still preserved on one of the original columns.

Small discoveries like this offer a glimpse into the many lives this historic building has had and make preserving its character even more meaningful as we prepare it for its next chapter.

Exciting progress is underway at our Saint Peter’s Church project as our team sets the heavy timber trusses into place. These impressive structural elements will support the roof while remaining exposed from the interior, creating a defining architectural feature within the new space.

A blend of craftsmanship, coordination, and structure coming together overhead—we can’t wait to see the finished result!
