In May of 2010, after working 8 years in a steady job at a wholesale nursery, in the middle of a recession, and after a historic flood, I quit my job. It may sound a little like a bad idea, but the time was right for me. So with lots of volunteer (hopefully they knew that) help from my incredible family and friends, I started to grow. :) And True Roots Nursery was born. Maybe I shouldn't say "I"
and "my". It was never just me, and it's still not. So WE started with pansies and violas in flats and hanging baskets. Not flawless, but really incredible. So we're gearing up for it again! This will be our first spring, and we'll have annuals, vegetables, and herbs in various sizes.
