Winter Weather UPDATE- Thursday Evening

- Winter Storm WATCH in effect Saturday afternoon through Sunday night for all counties along and North of I-20

- Expect widespread, freezing rain and sleet, beginning Saturday evening by 6 PM and lasting through Sunday evening. At times we will have light and heavy bouts of freezing rain and sleet. With rain taking over mixed with freezing rain Sunday night.

- There will be numerous power outages, as well as trees and limbs brought down due to the ice. Driving will become hazardous and simply walking outside could be dangerous.

- I’ll have full updates tomorrow morning and tomorrow evening we will review on things to prepare for when the power goes out.

Honoring Veterans today at Mid Carolina Rifle Club with Chapter 6 Special Forces Association. We had a great group of Steel Challenge shooters and local Veterans.
