🚨 WHEN A ROUTINE CUT TAKES AN UNEXPECTED TURN! 😳🪚
Watch as this massive log catches my STIHL MS 661 and sends it flying right out of my hands! 💥
Even with years of experience, tree work can remind you just how quickly things can change. One cut, one split second, and a whole lot of force.
🌳 This is why experience, awareness, and respect for the forces involved matter in our industry.
👀 Watch closely — did you catch the exact moment everything changed?

First job with the new platform basket + crane… and of course the tree stretched 110–120 ft out. 😤🌳
Long day. Big reach. Hazardous silver maple. One workday—finished, cleaned up, DONE. 💪🏗️

Well… it didn’t slide off the stump. 😳🌳
Negative lean, hung up in the neighboring canopy, and now we’ve got a problem to solve.
We already know how WE handled it…
Tree guys — what’s your next move? 👇
Watch it through before you answer. 👀

Rigging out a maple top… from the neighboring tree. 🌳🪢💪
When the tree you’re removing won’t give you what you need, you make your own setup. 😎
A little mechanical advantage, the right setup, and SEND IT! 💪🌳🔥
We work hard, we play hard, and we have a hell of a time doing it.
Just another day doing what we do best. 💪

😳 OH MY GOD… CHECK OUT THIS BADDIE! 🌳🔥
Rigging almost an ENTIRE TREE from another tree — mechanical advantage, multiple rigging points, and the Avant doing the pulling. 💪🪢
This is what serious tree work looks like. Wait for the load to hit! 👀

MULTIPLE POINTS. ONE HEAVY LOAD. 🌳💪
Spreading the stress across multiple unions and letting the tree flex while the Avant takes the load. Rigging smarter, not harder.

😳 THAT’LL WAKE THE CRANE OPERATOR UP! 🌳🏗️
Instead of throwing another strap on it, we cut a notch up top and stood the whole piece up with the crane. A little shock load, a BIG pick, and she came right where we wanted her. 💪

💥🌳 WHEN 90 FEET IS TOO FAR… DROP IT CLOSER! 🪵🏗️
Crane sitting 90 feet out, so we dropped this big oak log closer to the setup — giving the crane a better angle and allowing us to take a bigger pick with a better weight ratio. 💪
Sometimes the tree has to come to the crane. 😂🔥
