Hi everyone! We’re Jessica & Ramon Hernandez, owners of Hernandez Concrete!
We’re incredibly proud to be part of the Steel City Alliance family and excited to get to know all of you!
I’m Jessica, born and raised right here in Pueblo, and I’ve been working in education for the past 16 years. About six years ago, I kidnapped Ramon and convinced him to make Pueblo his home! 😂 Ramon has been working in the concrete industry for 14 years, so you could definitely say concrete is in his blood!
We’re a very close-knit family, and our children are a huge part of our lives—and our business. We involve them as much as we can because we want them to learn what it takes to build and manage a successful business of their own someday. More importantly, we’ve always worked hard to instill integrity, responsibility, a strong work ethic, and the importance of treating people right.
About two years ago, we decided it was time to take a leap of faith and start our own company, Hernandez Concrete. We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come in our first two years, and we’re even more grateful for the customers, friends, family, and community members who have supported us along the way.
For us, word of mouth is the best advertising there is. We truly appreciate every referral, recommendation, review, and opportunity our customers have given us.
At Hernandez Concrete, we can handle all of your flatwork needs, whether it’s a new build, an addition, or a replacement. We do driveways, patios, sidewalks, monolithics, stamped and colored concrete, and much more!
But our business is about more than just concrete. We love Pueblo and we love being involved in our community. We’re both very active in local events, car shows, community outreach, trunk-or-treats, youth events, sponsorships, and anything that gives us an opportunity to give back and support the next generation.
That’s a big reason why we chose to join the Steel City Alliance. We feel like this group shares the same passion we have for supporting local businesses, building relationships, and making our community stronger.
We’re excited to meet everyone, build new relationships, support one another, and hopefully make some great friends along the way!
