Today, we remember the man who started it all. Jim Sanchez started this business in 1984 with a little pick up truck and a vision. For 40 years, he built a family owned lawn and landscaping business that provided quality service to the Colorado Springs area. Due to health issues, Jim officially retired in 2024. His son in law Jeff would take over operations, and purchase the business. Sharing ownership with his wife Jayme (Jim's daughter). Jim passed away August 26, 2025 surrounded by his family. We remember Jim for his kind and giving heart, his work ethic, and dedication to everything he did. Something we at J&J Grounds Maintenance will continue for another 40+ years.
