On Saturday we removed some of the Survivalist Tall Fescue from my yard in order to dig a hole for a tree from Heidrich's Colorado Tree Farm Nursery.This Tall Fescue was installed on April 1st with thorough ground preparation. After just 25 days of establishment we are already seeing substantial root development. This shows the importance of proper ground preparation. With the proper conditions the Survivalist Tall Fescue can develop a root system that can reach to 40” of depth. Truly amazing!
