This was a fun one. The tile that the customer chose was a 24” x 48” LFT. Laying it the way they wanted, there was going to be a small rip at the top. I talked through a couple different ideas and what we agreed on was to use two different tiles. I would separate the two by free handing a cut of Pikes Peak and the surrounding mountain range, which would eliminate the small rip at the top. Careful planning at the beginning of a project can lead to a final outcome that turns out even better than the original plan.
