Thank you everyone for your prayers! We feel the Love!!! I have gotten a lot of calls asking what happened so I'm going to try & explain what we feel happened. This is a tragedy and breaks our hearts please be bear with me. I have a lot to unpack here and I'm trying to be careful how I explain the events leading up to baby boys disappearance. I have no proof just the events that unfolded to this tragedy.
Yesterday I had a man stop by and ask If we have any goats for sale specifically he was interested in cabrito the baby goats he kept pointing at my 2 babies I said none for sale. I didn't think much about it we get asked all the time.
As you all know my husband stays up with the goats all night he was a little up from the goats with our guardian dog. The goats were kinda in a little Gulley in the corner of fencing and then their is a trail that borders our fencing and a river on the other side of the trail.
At 2am a headlamp came home behind the goats down the trail again people are out all night Karl didn't think much about it. Then all of a sudden the goats all jumped to their feet started snorting & running towards my husband at the same time a baby was really screaming then the head lamp turned away from us and the baby quited. Now baby boy when you hold him quiets down. Karl thought everyone was fine they just spooked but to our disbelief that's not what happened. It took until daylight before we realized we were missing baby. We have walked a 1/2 mile down trail looked in all the bushes there is no visible signs of wildlife grabbing the boy not even 1 drop of blood plus he would of kept screaming there's no shuffle marks on trail nothing like he vanished. So the longer time goes on I'm sure headlamp person whoever you are you jumped over my fence grabbed my baby and were on your way in seconds. We are devastated this little baby did not deserve this and his poor mommy is beside herself. If you were thar hungry I would of given you food not goat but food. I'm sure you thought I wouldn't notice 1 baby being gone but these goats are not just goats they are our livelihood they are our children they are our family. They depend on us and we depend on them. So shame on you whoever that is that did this.
