Take a Look Inside the NEW GiGi's Playhouse Colorado Springs! ❤️💙

The grand opening celebration may be over, but the excitement is just beginning!

We're thrilled to share photos of the beautifully remodeled GiGi’s Playhouse Colorado Springs, a space built with purpose, heart, and community!

For those unfamiliar with GiGi’s Playhouse, this incredible nonprofit provides FREE educational, therapeutic, fitness, and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, helping participants of all ages build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections.

And now, they have an amazing space to make it all happen!

✨ A new stage for celebrations, performances, and special moments.

💪 A dedicated workout room to encourage fitness, movement, and healthy living.

🍽️ A beautiful kitchen where participants can develop valuable life skills and independence.

📚 Welcoming classrooms, play areas, and gathering spaces designed for learning, creativity, and connection.

Casco Construction Corp was proud to partner with HBA Cares as Builder Captain on this special project, alongside so many generous trade partners and community supporters.

A special thank you to our amazing Project Manager Jessica Yeoman and Superintendent Jeff Heckman for their dedication to making this project a reality. And Jeff, thank you for the great photos showcasing the finished Playhouse!

🚧🌿 Cottonwood Reach II Project Update!

Where engineering meets creativity and environmental stewardship!

Our Casco Construction crew has officially completed and stained Big Drop Structure 8 at Cottonwood Reach II!

These structures are designed to safely slow and control water flow along Cottonwood Creek, helping reduce erosion and protect the surrounding hillsides.

But there's more to this project than meets the eye! The concrete features beautiful nature-inspired details, including trees, frogs, turtles, and other wildlife, creating a unique blend of engineering, craftsmanship, and creativity.

Projects like this remind us of the important connection between infrastructure development and environmental stewardship. Erosion control and responsible water management also support the broader principles of conservation and restoration ecology, helping protect our natural landscapes as our community continues to grow. 🌎

👷 What's next? Our team is currently tying rebar and preparing to pour Big Drop Structure 7. After that, just six more drop structures to go!

We're proud of the craftsmanship and hard work our crew continues to put into this project. Stay tuned for more updates!

From insurance office to game night!

Casco Construction recently completed a 1,600-square-foot interior remodel for Zeroed in Games, transforming a former insurance office into a welcoming new space for gamers, collectors, families, and the community.

The remodel included:
🔨 Interior demolition
◾ New LVT flooring throughout
🎨 Fresh paint and finishes
🛠️ Custom cabinetry
🚪 A custom-wrapped opening connecting two office spaces

Zeroed In Games is a family-owned and operated board game, trading card, and hobby store focused on creating a fun, safe, and welcoming place where people can come together, play, explore new hobbies, and connect with others.

We love projects that give existing spaces an entirely new purpose, especially when that purpose is centered around bringing people together.

Congratulations to the Zeroed In Games family on their new space! We appreciate the opportunity to help bring their vision to life.

What a weekend for GiGi's Playhouse Colorado Springs! ❤️🎉

After months of construction, collaboration, and incredible community support, we had the privilege of celebrating the completion of this very special project.

🏒 Friday night, Casco Construction Corp Superintendent Jeff Heckman, who was on the project day in and day out, had the honor of dropping the puck at the GiGi’s Playhouse Charity Hockey Game.

🎉 Saturday, our Project Manager Jessica Yeoman joined the GiGi’s community for the official Grand Opening and ribbon cutting!

The celebration brought together the local GiGi’s Playhouse board, community supporters, Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi, and GiGi’s Playhouse founder Nancy Gianni, along with her daughter and the organization's namesake and Chief Inspiration Officer, GiGi Gianni.

It was an incredible opportunity to hear firsthand about GiGi’s mission of changing the way the world views Down syndrome and creating a world of greater acceptance for all.

Casco Construction was honored to serve as Builder Captain alongside HBA Cares, working with an amazing group of trade partners, vendors, and community supporters to help transform this 5,000-square-foot space into a place where individuals with Down syndrome and their families can learn, grow, connect, and thrive.

Come early! From 7:00–7:30 PM, members of the Colorado College Hockey team will be there for photos, autographs, and a meet and greet. Casco Construction Corp. is excited to have one of our own representing our team for the ceremonial puck drop!

The celebrations continue tomorrow as GiGi’s officially opens the doors to its new Colorado Springs home! Mayor Yemi will be on hand for the ribbon cutting, marking an exciting milestone for GiGi’s and the families they will serve.

✈️ Two hangars. Two stages of construction. Lots of progress at Meadow Lake Airport!

Our Casco Construction team is moving right along on both hangars.

🔨 Hangar 1
Interior framing is complete, along with the in-wall electrical and plumbing rough-ins. Insulation has arrived, and next up is the two-hour fire-rated exterior wall, which will be insulated and followed by the required three layers of drywall. The front hangar door is also being completed, along with the front insulation and panels.

🏗️ Hangar 2
The steel structure is up! We’re now waiting for insulation to arrive so we can begin installing the panels and continue closing in the building.

It’s great to see these two projects taking shape side by side. We’ll continue sharing the progress as both hangars move toward completion!

🥖 Something special is taking shape in Colorado Springs!

is proud to be building out the newest location of Valerio’s Bakeshop, bringing generations of Filipino baking tradition to the Colorado Springs community.

Founded by Victor Valerio Sr. and Milagros Valerio, Valerio’s began with a passion for preserving and sharing authentic Filipino baking traditions. Today, the family continues that legacy through favorites like freshly baked pandesal, ensaymada, cheese rolls, empanadas, cakes, pastries, and more.

And soon, Colorado Springs will get to experience it for itself!

📍 Conveniently located off the Powers corridor, construction is moving right along. Our team is wrapping up demolition and preparing to move into underground plumbing, framing, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins.

As the space begins to take shape, strong communication, careful coordination, and quality craftsmanship will remain at the center of our work as we help bring the Valerio family’s vision for their newest location to life.
With an anticipated opening near the end of November, we’re excited to watch this space transform into a new destination for the Colorado Springs community.

A home addition should feel like it was always meant to be there, while creating space that is uniquely designed around the way our clients live.
This 1,040-square-foot home addition is taking shape with two highly personalized spaces at the center of the design: a custom craft room and a golf simulator/cigar lounge.

The craft room will feature custom cabinetry, dedicated sewing stations, extensive storage, and a custom 10' x 5' worktable while the 16' x 25' golf simulator and cigar lounge will include a recessed hitting area, comfortable seating, a dry bar with open shelving, integrated low-voltage lighting, and a dedicated air purification and ventilation system.

Behind the finishes, just as much attention is going into the details. HVAC, plumbing, and electrical rough-ins are complete, including the infrastructure for the fully integrated golf simulator, smoke-eater system, ERV, mini-split system, and specialty lighting along a brick-veneered, barrel-vaulted hallway.

With rough inspections underway, framing and insulation inspections are next, followed by drywall.

We’re excited to watch these spaces come together and share more as this custom addition progresses.
