Today marks America's 250th Independence Day, a milestone worth celebrating. 🇺🇸

This year feels a little different across Southern Colorado. While many traditions continue, there won't be fireworks for many of us as communities like Beulah, Rye, Colorado City, Wetmore, and others face the challenges of the Aspen Acres Fire. 🌲🔥

Today, we're especially grateful for the firefighters 🚒, first responders 👨‍🚒, law enforcement 👮, volunteers 🙌, and neighbors ❤️ who continue to step up for one another. They remind us that the strength of America isn't just found in its history. It's found in ordinary people doing extraordinary things when their communities need them most.

With the wildfire smoke affecting Southern Colorado, now is a great time to check your furnace filter.
