There’s a difference between managing a property…

…and managing your vendor.

If you’ve ever had to say:
ā€œFix this.ā€
ā€œRedo that.ā€
ā€œYou missed this again.ā€

While also calling…
and calling…
and calling…

You already know the difference.

Add in missed timelines, rescheduled work, and things falling through the cracks—and suddenly the ā€œcheaperā€ option isn’t saving anything.

Because now you’re not just paying for a service.

You’re paying with your time, your follow-ups, and your attention.

The best vendors don’t need constant correction.
They don’t need to be chased.
And they definitely don’t leave you wondering when they’ll show up.

They handle it.

The difference isn’t just in the work.
It’s in how much you still have to manage

We see this happen a lot šŸ‘‡

A landscaper raises their price a bit…
So the property switches to someone cheaper…
Then switches again not long after…

And before you know it, things just don’t look the same.

There are a LOT of landscaping companies out there, so it’s easy to shop around—and we totally get wanting to stay within budget.

But here’s the part people don’t always see:

Behind the scenes, costs for labor, materials, and equipment keep going up for everyone. And when pricing gets pushed too low, it can be hard for any company to keep up the same level of care.

That can lead to:
• Missed details
• Things not getting addressed early
• And bigger issues down the road

It’s not always obvious right away—but over time, it shows.

At the end of the day, good landscaping is really about consistency.
And that’s what keeps a property looking its best season after season 🌱

🌱 Has the Lack of Snow Revealed More Than Just Dry Grass? ā„ļøšŸ‘€

Colorado Springs hasn’t seen much snow this winter—and while that might mean fewer shovels and plows, it’s also exposing what’s been hiding beneath the surface.

šŸ‘ļø How are your grounds looking now that there’s no snow cover?

Bare patches?

Weeds waking up early?

Drainage issues?

Or worse… signs that no one’s been truly policing the property all season?

🧊 Less snow also means less moisture—which means nature is under stress. Trees, turf, and even soil biology are all feeling the effects of this dry spell. And if no one's been watching? You're more likely to see damage in spring.

Now’s the time to walk your property and take inventory.
If you don’t like what you’re seeing—or not seeing—Green Vision is here to help.

Winter watering? Yep — it’s still a thing in Colorado. šŸ’§šŸŒæ

Between dry air, sunshine, and long stretches without snow, trees and shrubs can dry out even when temperatures drop. A little winter watering goes a long way in keeping your landscape healthy until spring.

A few quick tips:
āœ”ļø Water on warmer days (above 40°F)
āœ”ļø Midday is best — when the ground isn’t frozen
āœ”ļø Focus on trees, shrubs, and new plantings
āœ”ļø Skip watering if there’s been recent snow or moisture

Taking care of your landscape now helps everything bounce back stronger in the spring. If you’re unsure what your property needs this winter, we’re happy to help.
