We’re excited to announce that GTR is growing again! We have officially acquired PTR Truck Center in West Chicago, Illinois, adding a new location to the GTR family, and a new truck brand to our lineup: Isuzu!

This acquisition expands GTR’s presence in the Chicagoland area and brings the Isuzu brand to our family of truck offerings. We’re thrilled to welcome the PTR Truck team to GTR and look forward to giving our customers even more options to keep their businesses moving.

🏁 As we continue our countdown to this year's NHRA Customer Event, we want to take a moment to thank the incredible employees who helped make last year's event such a success.

From setting up the tent and preparing food to welcoming our customers and making sure everyone had a great time, our team went above and beyond to create a memorable experience.

After 38 years in the trucking industry and 31 years with GTR as a Truck Technician at our Wright City location, John Graeler is officially retiring! Having someone dedicate more than 30+ years to GTR is a testament to the lasting relationships and sense of family that make our company special. We’re incredibly grateful for the knowledge, hard work, and dedication John has shared with our team and customers throughout the years. His impact on GTR will not be forgotten.

Congratulations, John! We wish you a long, happy retirement filled with plenty of fishing and relaxation. You’ve earned it! 🎣

A few weeks ago, our team came together to fill backpacks with school supplies for local kids getting ready to head back to school.

Now, we get to see the best part: Those backpacks making their way into the hands of the kids they were packed for! ❤️🎒

We were proud to support the Justice Park District Summer Camp this year and help create a summer full of fun, learning, and unforgettable memories for local kids.

Our sponsorship helped provide weekly field trips, free lunches, camp shirts, crafts, and exciting activities throughout the summer. Most importantly, it helped ensure campers had a safe and memorable place to learn, grow, and have fun.

⛳ Our Refrigeration Sales team had a great time at the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Lake Arrowhead Annual Golf Outing!

We were proud to sponsor Hole 14 and host the Closest to the Pin challenge at this sold-out event with more than 150 golfers. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with customers and others in the industry.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and a special shoutout to Jim Gangloff, James Krauss, and Dave Bartels for captaining our company teams. We appreciate the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association for hosting another great event and look forward to next year!

Giving back to our community is something we're proud to be a part of.

Recently, we partnered with Quality Custom Distribution and Golden State Foods Foundation to help provide backpacks filled with school supplies for students who may not otherwise have the tools they need to start the school year with confidence. A few of our team members traveled to the QCD facility in the Chicago area to help pack backpacks that will be distributed to children in need.

We're grateful for the opportunity to support such a meaningful initiative and work alongside organizations, like QCD, that are committed to making a difference. Wishing all the students receiving these backpacks a successful and inspiring school year!
