Today we were honored to celebrate a significant milestone in the construction of the Delaware Tribe Cultural Center with a traditional Topping Out Ceremony.
This time-honored construction tradition marks the placement of the final structural beam and symbolizes the hard work, collaboration, and dedication that have brought this vision to life. Tribal leaders, community members, project partners, and construction team members gathered to sign the beam, offer blessings, and witness its placement atop the structure.
The ceremony served as a powerful reminder that this project is more than a building—it is a place where the history, culture, language, and traditions of the Delaware Tribe will be preserved, shared, and celebrated for generations to come.
We are grateful to everyone whose commitment and partnership have helped make this milestone possible. As construction continues, we look forward to seeing the Delaware Tribe Cultural Center become a lasting symbol of heritage, education, and community.
