Lorain County Gold Star Memorial - Elyria, OH

This 465 square foot outdoor living space has an ashlar cut slate stamp pattern with an Italian slate border and a split rock-face edge. We used Rustic Brown integral color (Davis Colors) and a medium gray release (Decocrete).

This decorative pool will be the centerpiece at the hotel at Oberlin Tappan Square entrance. The formwork is complicate and intricate with various angles, an oval shape and a smooth finish. RMH worked with college officials, artists, architects and general contractors to achieve aesthetic, quality goals. The project is to be completed in August 2022.

This project was challenging due to the grade changes and also the close proximity of the neighboring home. Because of the limited space, a reinforce concrete retaining wall was not an option. The homeowner chose the recon retaining wall system as manufactured by Norwalk Concrete Industries. RMH excavated and installed the retaining walls and new reinforced concrete driveway.

This patio has integral colors which are solomon and cinnamon 306. The release for this patio is brick red (137) and redwood (139).

This patio has an integral 1216 overcast color . The borders are sandy brown color hardener with a medium gray ez-tique. The patio is a buff wash finish with a decorative stamped Italian slate border.

Within the next few weeks, we will be posting some of our projects from last year. Looking at these projects may help to inspire some ideas for your project.

This main pattern of this patio is an ashlar slate with a roman slate border. We did not use any integral color. We applied brownstone, bourbon, and bark brown color hardeners to provide the varied look and depth. A dark gray release was used to accentuate the patterns.
