On the road early this morning! 🌅🌲🚛
This load is headed north to the new Marshall Steakhouse in Oxford, Mississippi, and we’re proud to have a small part in what these guys are building.
But this isn’t just another load of lumber.
These timbers came from old-growth Southern pine, much of it 100+ years old, harvested from National Forest land. Trees that were standing long before most of us were around are getting a new life—not as pulp or waste, but as beautiful, massive timbers that will become part of a place folks will enjoy for generations.
There’s something pretty special about taking a tree that has stood for a century, milling it right here in Mississippi, and watching it become part of a new Mississippi landmark.
We’re excited for the folks at Marshall Steakhouse, excited for the City of Oxford, and mighty proud to see Beard Milling & Lumber rolling in with a little piece of Mississippi history on the trailer.
From the forest → to the sawmill → to Oxford. 🌲🪚🥩
