We are seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to oversee and perform the installation of residential and/or light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role is responsible for leading installation crew, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and the ability to manage projects from start to finish.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform complete HVAC system installations, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and related components
- Supervise and mentor installation team members, ensuring proper techniques and job site efficiency
-Execute installations according to job specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and local codes
- Review job details, load calculations, and system designs prior to installation
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding system operation, installation progress, and maintenance recommendations
- Maintain accurate job documentation, including start-up sheets, photos, and material usage
- Identify and resolve installation issues or field challenges efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of HVAC installation experience, with prior lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals
- Thorough understanding of local building codes and safety regulations
- EPA Certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience training apprentices or junior installers
- Sheet metal and duct fabrication experience
- Basic electrical and controls knowledge
