We thought we had the perfect floor stain… until we saw it on the entire floor. 😬
We started with Provincial, but once it was applied, the white oak pulled much pinker than we expected. Instead of settling, we trusted the process, tested again, and made the call to switch to Walnut.
It wasn’t the easiest decision, but it was the right one. Now the floors have the rich, timeless look we were after from the beginning. 🤎
This is your reminder that stain colors don’t live on a sample board—they react to the wood, the lighting, and the finish. Sometimes the best design decisions happen after a course correction.
