The main area of the store was taped and ready to paint - we started painting today! The walls were kind of a light mocha color and are now “Distant Gray”!! The room is much brighter already and I love it!! If you notice in the picture with the wooden shelves there are quite a few different paint containers. Well there is a good reason - each of the 4 rooms is going to be painted different colors and have a different theme of pieces!!Christmas/Winter, Easter/Spring, Fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving & Garden/Critters/etc!! There are a couple more rooms that I’ll wait for a bit to post what they will be for, but for now I think this is a great start!! I have also still been pouring and love these recent pours!! I am sore and exhausted but excited!!

I am SO EXCITED!!!!! Yesterday, we closed on this building (formerly the COAST offices) on Main St in Colfax!! This will be the new home for Ceramics by Laura’s shop (excluding pouring)!! I have big plans in the works and will keep you all posted on the progress. First thing is picking paint colors - who wants to help me!!My current shop will remain open with regular hours for now, any closures will be posted to this page.
