Not your average truck modification. 👀

We just finished turning another Ram into a dedicated soil sampling truck for Nutrien Ag Solutions.

Seats came out, custom framework went in, hydraulics were plumbed, an auxiliary battery system was added, exhaust was rerouted, and everything was fitted together to make this truck ready for the field.

Even better—this is soil sampler #2 we’ve had the opportunity to build for Nutrien.

Repeat customers mean a lot to a small business. Thanks again to Nutrien Ag Solutions for trusting Oley’s Welding & Repair with another one! 🤝

Another busy run keeping Silverstar Car Wash moving. 🔥

We hit multiple locations taking care of repairs and getting things back up and running with as little downtime as possible.

Sorry for being a little absent this week. I had an unexpected medical emergency that landed me in the hospital, and I’m currently awaiting surgery.

I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while I take care of this. I’m hoping everything goes well and that Oley’s Welding & Repair will be back to normal operations sometime next week.

🚨 Different job. Different town. Same goal—keep our customers working.

The last couple of weeks have had us bouncing from one job to the next:
• Fuel tank repairs
• Farm equipment repairs
• Landing gear replacement on side dump trailers
• Factory warranty work on a semi 4-post lift
• Mobile welding wherever it’s needed

No two days are ever the same, and that’s one of the things we love most about this business.

From a chance conversation to getting a baler back in the field. 🔥

While we were out working on another farmer’s equipment, a farmer from Nome, ND stopped by and asked if we could take a look at a broken baler axle.

We brought the axle back to the shop, cut out the failed section, rebuilt the axle assembly, and got everything squared back up. Once it was ready, we headed out to his farm, installed a new bushing, put the rebuilt axle back under the baler, and got him back up and running.

Always appreciate the farmers who trust us to keep their equipment moving—especially when hay season doesn’t wait.

🐎 The horses might get all the attention, but somebody’s gotta keep the track smooth!

Got a call from the North Dakota Horse Park in Fargo to repair their track grooming equipment. We welded on a pair of new wheel spindles and added some extra reinforcement to keep everything solid.

Back together and ready for the track! 🔥⚡️

A previous repair had left this Donkey forklift steering arm in rough shape.

We made the trip to Fargo and repaired it right at the customer’s location. The failed repair was completely gouged out, the damaged area was rebuilt, and custom-cut reinforcement plates were fabricated and installed to strengthen the steering arm and restore its structural integrity.

No need to haul the forklift to a shop—we brought the shop to the job site and got this machine back to work with a repair built to last.

Keeping the equipment that protects our communities operating safely is something we don’t take lightly.

This repair involved patching a leak on the Walcott Fire Department’s pump truck to get it back into service as quickly as possible.

A huge thank you to Jon Reiger Seed for opening up their shop so we could complete the repair efficiently.

Factory wasn’t enough, so we built it right.

This customer didn’t feel the factory rear hitch was up to the task of pulling his coil packer, so we fabricated a heavy-duty reinforcement system to spread the load and add the strength he was looking for.

To keep everything serviceable, we also welded flanges onto the cultivator frame, making the entire reinforcement assembly completely bolt-on. If the hitch ever needs to come off, it can be unbolted without cutting a single weld.

🎣 More float. More stability. More performance.

This Bass Tracker came in for a set of Beavertail flotation pods. We TIG welded them on, blended everything in, and sent it home ready for the next trip to the lake.

Another happy customer and another quality aluminum project completed.
