Just a quick service call to start the morning off right!

Over time, UV exposure cracks and flakes off the insulation, exposing the live high-voltage lines of your overhead wires between your weatherhead and service loop. Uninsulated live wires can cause fatal electrical shocks if touched (or hit by metal ladders/branches) and can spark roof fires.

Homeowners own the weatherhead and service entrance cables; the power company owns the line running from the pole. Meaning this is your responsibility. Please inspect from the ground with your phone camera or binoculars. If you see bare wire or cracking, call a licensed electrician immediately and please never touch these lines yourself!

We had a great time with Craig and Karen Russon at their permaganically authenticated farm. We installed a subpanel and grow lights in their 1800s stone walled greenhouse, took a tour and enjoyed some meals together.
