We are thrilled to celebrate the official opening of Norwich University's new Cyber Fusion Center! Engelberth was honored to lead the construction of this cutting-edge, 13,000-square-foot facility.

Bringing this purpose-built hub to life was a true collaborative effort. Our project team successfully met strict Build America Buy America (BABA) compliance and tracked meticulous LEED sustainability standards through early collaboration, standardized documentation, and seamless communication with our suppliers and subcontractors.

Working alongside a fantastic design team, including Jones Architecture and Freeman French Freeman, Architects, we constructed a state-of-the-art space where students, researchers, military officials, and industry leaders will unite to tackle tomorrow's digital challenges. This space is set to shape the next generation of cybersecurity leaders in Vermont and beyond!

Mary was a cornerstone of the Engelberth family and a warm, guiding presence in our community. We recently celebrated another 40th ECI anniversary with Supervisor, Shaun Flanagan.

Shaun has played an integral role on several major projects at the Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport over the years and will be taking the lead supervisory role on the Airport’s upcoming $24 million Snow Removal Equipment Building project commencing later this year.

Last week we said goodbye to our good friend, Lyle Bissonette. Lyle was a legend in the construction industry and mentor to many employees. He worked as a Field Supervisor from February 1984 to December 2004 when he left for a well-deserved retirement. Our condolences go out to the Bissonette family including sons Phil and John and grandsons Brad and Spencer that currently work with us.

RIP Lyle. Thank you for all your contributions. We bet you and Ben Sicard are already out there fishing and telling stories. We are pretty sure you have some good ones!

Congratulations to Phil Bissonette on celebrating 40 years with Engelberth Construction!

Phil began his career with Engelberth as a carpenter and, through his dedication and expertise, advanced into a supervisory role, where he has successfully led numerous projects over the years. Among his many accomplishments, Phil has played a key role in overseeing multiple projects at Kendal at Hanover and recently completed the award-winning 10th Cavalry Apartment Preservation/Renovation project.
