Wrapped up the season just in time the way things look outside this morning! Got the annual end of season deck out pic. Got the old goat and Ryder down at the end of the pile, they look pretty small down there! The Green Grove township worked with us and allowed the trucks to deck out all this wood so after road bans we can get back to hauling rain or shine! We had plenty of curve balls this winter but we pretty much expect that in this industry! Onto spring machine maintenance and hopefully some drier warmer weather so we can get back at it!

I would say these deer are enjoying the fresh tree tops this afternoon. Can't count how many are around us today but its alot. All within 50 yards of the machines while we work!

Usually any day you can be in the woods its a great day, today wasn't one of those days. Luckily no one got hurt and we didn't create an all out forest fire. Central Fire responded swiftly and got the blaze knocked down. But not before the old trusty Timbco was burnt up pretty bad. Looks to have been started with something electrical but we dont know for sure.

It's always a happy but sad day when spring breakup hits! Had a good, productive frozen ground logging season this go around. Now its time to tune up the machines!
