We have been working on a landowners hardwood thinning on this particular property. Getting rid of the mature, ready to harvest hardwood trees along with any cull, dead or multiple stem trees, opening up the canopy and leaving behind a younger/healthy stand of single stem red oak, maple and pine trees. This property will now have the sunlight it needs to be a healthy growing stand of timber with excellent habitat for wildlife and great hunting for years to come!

I do have 2 loads of mixed red/white oak firewood available that could be hauled to someone in need after road bans come...

Wrapped up the season just in time the way things look outside this morning! Got the annual end of season deck out pic. Got the old goat and Ryder down at the end of the pile, they look pretty small down there! The Green Grove township worked with us and allowed the trucks to deck out all this wood so after road bans we can get back to hauling rain or shine! We had plenty of curve balls this winter but we pretty much expect that in this industry! Onto spring machine maintenance and hopefully some drier warmer weather so we can get back at it!
