An awesome customer in South Hill, South Spokane Washington had been stung by aggressive aerial yellowjackets nesting in the siding. Eliminated multiple aerial yellowjackets
nests and paper wasps nests and sprayed for spiders and de-webbed/treated the eaves.

Imagine being stung by aggressive subterranean yellowjackets as you walk about your front door. We were called to a home in Five Mile Spokane Washington.

This nest was huge with thousands of individuals defending their queen. Subterranean Yellowjackets don't like vibrations and the nest was under the sidewalk.

Look what our service technician found in Colbert Washington just South of Deer Park Washington.

It's a Paper Wasps nest, with many active individuals defending the queen from intruders, by chemical alarm to coordinate quick stings. Unlike honey bees they can sting multiple times and not die.

This is the time of year the populations of yellow jackets are exploding.

The heat and the resource gathering to provide for the new brood makes them more aggressive in August and September.

Check out this cool discovery in Colbert just North of Spokane Washington.
Asian Lady Beetle eating an aphid. Like the native lady bug they enjoy aphids. This is why they were introduced as biological control.

They behave differently than the native lady bug, in the winter they will invade homes over wintering in the wall voids in large clusters. Sometimes in groups of over a hundred. 😮

Then during the sunshine they emerge in masses crawling up the walls.

Was called to remove this MASSIVE yellow jacket nest out in Colbert. It was about 20ft in the air, hanging on this customer's eave.

In this video, we will show you step by step how we removed it safely from her house.

This nest contained a lot of larvae and eggs. Good thing she called us before they all hatched or it would have been a much bigger problem!

One of today's services involved a subterranean yellow jacket nest.

We were called out to urgently take care of this nest, our customer and his family were stung aggressively.

We found this nest in a rotted railroad tie. We got the queen and eliminated the entire colony 😁

Our crew was called to take care of this hornet nest in Spokane by a local tree company in order to complete their job. One of their workers was stung twice. 😬

We were able to knock it down quick and they were able to continue their work. Another successful hornet nest removal!

Greg, our new technician was out working hard in this heat today to remove a wasp nest that built in this panel of a hot tub located in South Hill.
